A non-conventional approach
The Colour Connections visualize a non-conventional approach on connecting meaningful colours of communities and cultures.  Collaboration and interaction are leading. Embrace instead of resentment. Mutual respect and achieving more as a team, no matter your personal situation or preferences are.

The Colour Connections were introduced to the public in a solo exhibition, during the Pride Summer (July-September 2022) in De Hallen – Amsterdam. Three large artworks were exhibited: Connect – Celebrate – Interact. As well enormous banners and stickering on glass doors. Children were playing games on the floor with the colours:  the imagination and adaption was great to see!

Art projects / exhibitions

•  March 2024 – group exhibition in Cica Museum, South Korea

•  September 2023 – group exhibition  Equilibrium / Artly Mix, Sao Paulo, Brasil

•  2024/25 – solo exhibition in Provincial House (to be confirmed)

•  July-September 2022 – solo exhibition in De Hallen, Amsterdam

Bio Claar Delfsma
Claar Delfsma is an Amsterdam based Dutch artist/designer, who works predominantly with meaningful community colors, connected in a non-conventional way. Experiencing how the colors connect as well how people connect with eachother. Claar holds a Bachelor degree from the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy Amsterdam. She is an award winning creative lead for (inter-)national design companies. In the last few years she developed herself more as an artist to visualize different perspectives on societal tendencies. Creating digital abstract color connections to experience solidarity, unity and collaboration woven into society.
